The Stakeholders, Inc. to Release Findings from I-787 Sustainable Cities Project Group hopes that project will serve as the first step towards a more sustainable Albany Waterfront Albany, N.Y. 10/18/11— On Wednesday, October 19, The Stakeholders, Inc. will conclude their premier Sustainable Cities Project by presenting the final report, The Future of I-787 and the Albany Waterfront, to local officials during the organization’s Open House Celebration for its new offices and Regional Volunteer Center. Local representatives and Congressman Paul Tonko will receive copies of the report that highlights sustainable alternatives to the existing I-787 corridor through the city of Albany and the results from public outreach efforts. |

The Stakeholders, Inc., Designated as a New York State Regional Volunteer Center and a HandsOn Network Affiliate of the Points of Light Institute Celebration Planned for October 19 at The Stakeholders’ New Albany Office Albany, N.Y. 9/28/11— The Stakeholders, Inc., announced today that the organization has been designated as a Regional Volunteer Center (RVC) by the New York State Commission on National & Community Service. The Stakeholders is one of 10 organizations tapped to operate RVCs in defined regions across the state. The Stakeholders’ region is comprised of eight eastern New York counties: Albany, Schenectady, Rennselaer, Saratoga, Columbia, Greene, Washington and Warren. |
