The 2nd Annual Get on Board Volunteer Awards ceremony - a.k.a. the GOBYs - takes place Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at The Crowne Plaza in Albany. The event will raise funds for Stakeholders programs and services while recognizing those who are giving above and beyond to our community. Celebration Planned for October 19 at The Stakeholders’ New Albany Office

Albany, N.Y. 9/28/11— The Stakeholders, Inc., announced today that the organization has been designated as a Regional Volunteer Center (RVC) by the New York State Commission on National & Community Service. The Stakeholders is one of 10 organizations tapped to operate RVCs in defined regions across the state. The Stakeholders’ region is comprised of eight eastern New York counties: Albany, Schenectady, Rennselaer, Saratoga, Columbia, Greene, Washington and Warren.
